For far too long, little could be done for patients with heavy scars left from trauma. Patients were left with permanent disfigurement that impacted their self-esteem and lifestyle. Furthermore, many patients had to live with the debilitating lack of mobility that accompanies tough scar tissue. Now, technological innovations are giving trauma survivors with scars a new hope and a better future.
