Lumenis launches OptiLIFT for toning periorbital muscles

Lumenis has launched OptiLIFT, a new device that tones periorbital muscles to address lower eyelid laxity and impaired blinking. With age, periorbital muscles lose 3-8% of their tone each decade, leading to sagging eyelids. As a result, blinking mechanics become impaired, tear film stability decreases, and ocular conditions may develop. OptiLIFT targets the root cause – weakened periorbital muscles, and clinical data shows significant improvements in tear breakup time, blink quality, and lower lid laxity.
